The Poker Channel was to be re-branded as The Player Channel, and needed a new website to match its new image.

An increasing number of visitors to the site from mobile devices every month was indicated from the analytics. Also, after analysing heat maps, most visitors were clicking through to watch live TV. The site was also outdated, too dark and text-heavy.

We decided to introduce Live TV to the homepage and optimise the site and TV stream for mobile viewing. A fully responsive site that works at all resolutions was the solution.

Mixlr is an online audio broadcasting service and they wanted a new iOS app to enable users to broadcast on-the-go.

Users were restricted to broadcasting from a computer. Developing a mobile app would open many more opportunities for potential broadcasters on-the-go. Transitioning the interface and controls that users were familiar with on the website to an app was the biggest challenge. Designing the 'Crowd' view for such a small screen was arguably the most important and challenging view to design.

After working closely with their iOS developer, I was able to design a stunning UI for the app that was custom built from the ground up. It was decided to use the same icons and colour palette from the website for consistency, but using some iOS UI elements and effects to keep the experience as native as possible.
